BIOGRAPHY

Amgad Elgowainy is the Director and senior scientist of the Techno-Economic Analysis and Infrastructure Assessment Department at Argonne National Laboratory. His research focuses on engineering process modeling, environmental life cycle analysis, and the techno-economic analysis of energy and infrastructure systems.

Amgad has authored and co-authored over 200 technical publications on energy systems modeling, life cycle analysis, and infrastructure assessment. His research output includes computational process models, life cycle inventories, and cost analysis tools applied in the techno-economic and environmental evaluation of emerging clean energy technologies.
